WOMEN OF THE
WORLD
"Woman of the World" was a student led podcast project created by Rowan Bayer and I regarding the evolution of woman's rights. Listening in, you will gain knowledge about the creation of woman's rights and the various generational views on it. Topics such as violence towards woman and social media will be highlighted as it will provide a depth of information to listeners that you will not receive anywhere else. As the episode plays, you can learn about the life of others and how, at the end of the day, it is best to be kind to others and treat everyone as equals.

This podcast allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and explore a type of media that I never believed I would have a love for. From the creation of this episode, I was able to learn:

- how to use editing and audio softwares such as GarageBand and CapCut
- speak in a clear, concise, and confident manner
- organize my time and schedule
- talk with others in a friendly, yet professional tone

and understand the hardships of our past and how we as a newer generation can improve our world to filled with less hurt.

With the creation of this podcast came the hardship of only speaking a language that was not my native tongue. Although this was a challenge initially, I soon tackled this obstacle and was able to speak Spanish quite fluently. Additionally, I was able to learn:

- how to prepare for an interview
- speak Spanish somewhat fluently
- organize my time to match with others

This project was a wonderful learning experience and gave me a taste of how conversations will go once I am completely fluent in Spanish!
